The Technology Third-Party Management Senior Technical Business Analyst (IT Business Lead Analyst - C13) is a senior-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology development team and third-party software vendors. They must be familiar with SaaS configurations and have experience leveraging AI to provide business solutions. 

Reporting to the Technology Procurement and Third-Party Management Systems Functional Head, this role is responsible for implementing strategic initiatives and delivering system releases in support of the Third-Party Management Systems Lead. This includes leading the design and implementation of components of the new enterprise third party management platform, ARAVO.

Technology Business Analysts are required to follow Agile delivery processes to support the overall goals of the TPM Program, contributing to an enterprise-wide solution while collaborating with stakeholders across multiple businesses, functions, and geographies within Citi.
Responsibilities:

  • Oversight for delivery and enhancement, playing a key role in the implementation of part of the enterprise third party management platform, ARAVO.   

  • Responsible for the operational implementation, and management across integrated platforms, of business processes and appropriate automations, improvements to data quality, end-to-end systems integrations, and support the delivery of meaningful metrics.

  • Design and implement appropriate controls in line with the Technology methodology.   

  • Carry out all required systems operations to ensure that the Technology System's objectives and goals are met. 

  • Develops and implements information management solutions to support ongoing systems operations and approved investment programs. 

  • Oversees components of the systems, such as data sourcing, data migration, data quality, solution design, team cross-functional training, user and centralized reporting, and implementation testing. 

  • Enhance system usability and overall user experiences through user support, hypercare, training and communication.

  • Assist the business in process re-engineering, to yield throughput and productivity saves.

  • Contribute to technical and business direction and strategic decisions as a technical expert in all development and implementation phases, providing in-depth and sophisticated analyses to define problems and develop innovative solutions.

  • Establish relationships with stakeholders and mid-level management in various businesses to understand complex business drivers and provide system and metric/reporting support. 

  • Work in conjunction with internal and external partners, stakeholders and Scrum Masters to ensure the prioritization of tasks for the successful launch of deliverables in a timely and business priority driven manner. 

  • Strong communication skills to support stakeholders within and across Technology, TPM Office, and Business/Function Third-Party Officers.

  • Strong functional knowledge of Third-Party Management, and Citi internal processes to support critical investment programs and Citi strategic programs.  

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
     

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of relevant experience

  • Hands-on experience with SaaS application configuration, including environment setup, role-based access, integrations, and ongoing optimization

  • Experience with Third-Party Management, Supplier Risk and Due Diligence controls

  • Knowledge of AI concept in the context of SaaS Applications

  • Comprehensive experience with both Agile deliveries using Jira, as well as all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle

  • Ability to handle a high volume of demands with flexibility

  • Experience participating in global team working

  • Specific ability to successfully produce in a functional systems organization is desirable

  • Knowledge of Citi policies and processes as it pertains to Third Party Management and Supplier Risk systems is a plus

  • Ability to develop strong relationships, negotiate areas of difference and build consensus across the global organization as well as with external suppliers, as appropriate

  • Expert level problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to break complex subjects into manageable pieces, determine the status quo, business requirements and target a course of action

  • Advanced system changes management skills including stakeholder management and communication

  • Expert level consulting skills to include relationship management, customer satisfaction, understanding customer needs, building business cases, and facilitation

  • Advanced communication/presentation skills as well as the ability to collect and share constructive feedback

  • Must have advanced cross-cultural and cross-functional collaboration skills

  • Proven self-motivation to take initiative and master new tasks quickly.

  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure managing multiple activities and changing priorities

  • Fluent in English; written and oral

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience

  • Master's degree preferred
