What You'll Do

You'll be a Technical Sourcing Recruiter helping us identify and engage exceptional technical talent who elevate our craft and culture.

  • Champion the future of play by identifying and engaging top technical talent across software engineering, data, and related technical disciplines.
  • Partner closely with recruiters and engineering leaders to understand hiring needs, technology stacks, market trends, and priorities.
  • Use active and passive sourcing strategies to identify top technical talent for the business, matching approach to the urgency and scope of each search.
  • Conduct market mapping, technical talent research, and outreach campaigns to uncover both actively interested and passive candidates.
  • Create thoughtful, personalized candidate engagement strategies that speak credibly to technical audiences and reflect the Wizards brand and values.
  • Leverage Boolean search, sourcing tools, market insights, and AI-enabled technologies to identify hard-to-find technical talent and improve outreach effectiveness.
  • Track sourcing activity and technical talent market insights to inform recruiting strategy and business decisions.
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience from first touch through handoff to the recruiting team.

What You'll Bring

  • 3+ years of technical sourcing or technical talent acquisition experience in a corporate or agency environment.
  • Experience identifying and engaging software engineers through active and passive sourcing strategies.
  • Working knowledge of technical roles, skill sets, and terminology sufficient to evaluate candidate qualifications.
  • Proficiency with sourcing platforms, applicant tracking systems (ATS), Boolean search techniques, and labor market research methods.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for engaging candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers.
  • Demonstrated ability to track and report on sourcing activity and candidate data.

Additional Details: 

Please note that this is a temporary assignment providing services to Wizards through an external staffing agency. If you are selected for this assignment, you will be employed by Workwell as a W2 employee and will not be an employee of Wizards. 

  • Employment Type: Contingent Worker 
  • Location: Fully Remote 
  • Duration: 6 months with possibility to extend to 12 months 

Compensation Range, Currency USD: 

  • Starting Pay Range: $45/hour 
  • Pay Range End: $55/hour
