Talent Specialist

📍 Remote | 💰 $60,000 – $80,000 | Full-Time

We're Not Looking for Employees. We're Looking for Builders.

Level Agency is hiring a Talent Specialist to help us scale something rare: a high-performance culture built on growth, truth, and relentless curiosity. In this role, you'll architect learning experiences, drive professional development programs, and build systems that make Level better—every single day.

If you're here to build, stretch, and lead through change—you’re in the right place.

This Isn’t for Everyone.

You’ll thrive here if:
✅ You take ownership without waiting for permission
✅ You’re hungry, curious, and addicted to progress
✅ You treat feedback like fuel and use AI as a force multiplier

You won’t thrive here if:
❌ Growth feels daunting
❌ You need a step-by-step playbook
❌ You’d rather maintain than improve

About Level

We’re an AI-powered performance marketing agency—built for precision, designed to scale, and powered by a scientific mindset. Our cross-functional teams blend strategy, media, creative, and machine intelligence to deliver real business outcomes. Every time. At scale.

We’ve been named one of Pittsburgh’s Best Places to Work and one of Inc. 500's Fastest-Growing Private Companies. Our clients span ecommerce, B2B, education, healthcare, and more.

Your Role (and Impact)

As a Talent Specialist, you'll be a key architect of our learning and development culture. You’ll launch programs, deliver training, and coach team members through pivotal career moments. You’ll also support talent acquisition efforts during high-growth periods.

What Game-Changers Do Here:

Design World-Class Orientation

  • Create experiences that make new hires feel connected and clear on day one
  • Align with hiring managers to ensure onboarding translates to high performance

Support L&D Strategy

  • Contribute to the design and delivery of scalable learning paths—technical and soft skills alike
  • Collaborate with leaders to assess organizational needs through performance trends and team feedback
  • Help maintain an annual training calendar with clear, measurable outcomes

Drive Career Growth & Engagement

  • Support development plans and coaching initiatives across departments
  • Equip managers to lead effective feedback and career conversations
  • Champion mentorship, recognition, and upskilling programs

Measure What Matters

  • Track training effectiveness and business impact—not just attendance
  • Report program KPIs and insights to the People Ops and Leadership teams

Be a Strategic Partner

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align learning with company goals
  • Support hiring efforts when bandwidth demands it
  • Standardize and streamline L&D operations—logistics, content, documentation
Requirements
You’ll Thrive If You Are:
  • 2-3 years in talent development, L&D, HR, or instructional design
  • Confident facilitating trainings across all levels and functions
  • Comfortable assessing skill gaps and designing solutions that stick
  • Adept at using LMS systems and supporting tech (HubSpot, Airtable, etc.)
  • Analytical, strategic, and able to turn feedback into action
  • Naturally inclusive, human-centered, and culture-conscious
  • Certified (CPTD, SHRM-CP, PHR)? Great—but not required
Real AI & Innovation Expectations

AI isn’t a nice-to-have here. It’s a core part of how we work. You’ll be expected to:

  • Experiment with tools like ChatGPT, Midjourney, Claude, and Perplexity
  • Share your workflows and prompt engineering tips with others
  • Use AI to enhance—not replace—strategic thinking and creativity
