What You Will Do
- Utilizes various sourcing techniques and tools to identify potential candidates. Leverages online platforms, job boards, social media, professional networks, and other resources to find individuals with the desired skills and qualifications for specific roles.
- Conducts research to understand talent availability, competitor analysis, and sourcing best practices. Identifies potential talent pools and develops effective sourcing strategies. Consults and advises talent acquisition and hiring managers on talent availability, competitor analysis, and sourcing best practices.
- Initiates contact with potential candidates and engages them in conversations about job opportunities through email, direct messaging, or phone calls to establish communication, assess candidate interest and suitability, and provide information about the organization and open positions.
- Contributes to building and promoting the company's employer brand. Communicates the organization's values, culture, and opportunities to potential candidates, positioning Lowe's as an attractive employer of choice.
- Reviews resumes, assesses candidate qualifications, and conducts initial screenings to evaluate their fit for specific roles. Assesses skills, experience, cultural fit, and other relevant factors based on the job requirements provided by the hiring team.
- Maintains a pipeline of potential candidates, even if they are not immediately suitable for current openings. Tracks and organizes candidate information, interactions, and progress through the recruitment process using candidate relationship management systems (CRM) or other tools.
- Works closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and other stakeholders to understand job requirements, target candidate profiles, and align sourcing efforts with the overall talent acquisition strategy. Provides regular updates on sourcing activities and contribute to discussions on candidate pipeline and strategies.
- Monitors and analyzes sourcing metrics and data, such as the number of candidates sourced, conversion rates, and time-to-fill, to evaluate the effectiveness of sourcing strategies. Refines sourcing approaches and optimizes the talent acquisition process when needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years Human Resources, Business, Management, Business Development or relevant experience or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
- 5 years Recruiting experience
- 5 years Experience with behavioral interviewing
- 5 years Experience using an applicant tracking system
- 3 years Experience sourcing through candidate social networking tools and using creative sourcing methodologies (X-ray, FlipSearch, Boolean Search)
- Experience proactively searching for and engaging passive candidates
- Experience consulting with and influencing hiring managers
Preferred Skills/Education
- 3 years Experience recruiting mid- to senior-level roles
