  • Partner directly with senior and executive leaders to understand business priorities, talent gaps, and organizational needs.
  • Utilize direct sourcing, networking, talent mapping, and pipelining techniques to identify and engage passive talent.
  • Serve as a trusted consultant by providing labor market insights, competitive intelligence, and talent trends that inform hiring decisions.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners, Compensation, and business leaders to support compensation discussions and offer strategy.
  • Effectively communicate Ameriprise's value proposition and compensation philosophy to candidates, facilitating successful offer negotiations and acceptance.
  • Ensure compliance with all employment regulations, policies, and affirmative action requirements while developing recruitment strategies that support organizational goals.
  • Leverage data and analytics to measure recruiting effectiveness, identify opportunities, and influence decision-making.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts across Talent Acquisition and may lead cross-functional projects, process enhancements, and strategic initiatives.
  • Support succession planning, workforce planning, and proactive talent strategies that strengthen leadership pipelines and critical talent capabilities across WMAG

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Talent Acquisition work experience that includes extensive knowledge of recruiting processes, strategy, and implementation.
  • Extensive knowledge of workforce planning, talent mapping, succession planning, and strategic talent advisory practices.
  • Demonstrated consultative and proactive leadership style.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively partner and communicate with senior level executives and provide coaching in the selection process.
  • Subject matter expert on sourcing methods and techniques.
  • Strong PC skills, such as with the Microsoft Suite, Workday, database management tools, and social media techniques.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior financial services industry experience.
  • Prior financial services, wealth management, banking, or investment industry experience.
  • Experience supporting, field leadership, or client-facing business groups.
  • Experience partnering with executive leadership teams in a highly matrixed organization.
