Your Impact
We are seeking a proactive and detail‑driven Supply Chain Analyst to support material availability, production planning, and supplier performance for Sunlight Batteries USA’s growing manufacturing operation. In this role, you will help ensure that materials flow smoothly through our battery production process by combining data‑driven supply chain analysis with hands‑on MRP review, expediting, and supplier coordination. Your work will directly support our commitment to consistent on‑time material delivery and uninterrupted production across our expanding facility.
What You'll Do
Material & MRP Management
- Review daily and weekly MRP requirements, validating demand, lead times, safety stock, and inventory accuracy
- Update and maintain ERP/MRP data including PO confirmations, delivery dates, and supplier updates
- Identify, prioritize, and expedite critical materials to prevent shortages and production delays
Supplier Performance & Coordination
- Communicate directly with suppliers to resolve past‑due orders, shortages, and delivery gaps
- Monitor supplier performance and escalate risks impacting production schedules
- Support corrective actions to drive on‑time delivery improvements
Analytics & Reporting
- Analyze inventory, demand, and supply trends to identify risks, gaps, and optimization opportunities
- Prepare reports and dashboards on material status, inventory health, supplier metrics, and key KPIs
- Recommend process improvements to strengthen supply continuity and operational efficiency
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Procurement, Planning, Production, Engineering, and Quality to ensure continuous material flow
- Support root‑cause analysis for material issues and contribute to long‑term solutions
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Operations, or related field (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in supply chain, planning, MRP, or procurement (preferred)
- Hands‑on experience with ERP/MRP systems; SAP experience is a plus
- Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel; Power BI experience highly preferred
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
