Position Summary:  

The Strategic Sourcing Manager is a key member of the Supply Chain team under the Integrated Electronics Regional Supply Chain organization with a focus on developing sourcing strategy and performing strategic sourcing functions to manage risk and optimize the value and resilience of materials and services sourcing.  The incumbent will develop, drive, and execute the regional category and advanced sourcing strategy for the TTM Integrated Electronics Product line.  The key objective is to create value and deliver the 3Ss (Security of Supply, Service & Quality, and Savings/Cash) to meet business needs.

This is a full-time position in which the candidate is able to work remotely. Travel up to 25-50% of the time may be required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategic Sourcing/Category Management:

  • Manage a portfolio of categories associated with the TTM Integrated Electronics (IE) product line inclusive of assigned categories.
  • Devise a clear regional category strategy, which includes a Preferred Supplier List (PSL), to reflect business needs and engage with key internal stakeholders to drive implementation of each category strategy
  • Continuously improve category & supplier strategies in relation to market dynamics and business model changes
  • Identify market opportunities that enable innovation and mitigate risks in internal, local and global supply chain, including impact of globalization and trade compliance
  • Lead negotiations with key suppliers on agreements inclusive of pricing, terms and conditions, vendor managed inventory, payment terms, etc.
  • Gain awareness of major proposal activity within your respective categories and develop Win/Win solutions with critical suppliers

Supplier Management

  • Develop strategic relationships with targeted preferred key suppliers
  • Lead supplier business reviews to drive continuous improvement in quality, delivery, technology and cost performance through Supplier Performance Review (SPR)

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

  • Demonstrate experience in complex pricing & contract negotiations across multiple projects and programs
  • Establish relationships within TTM’s IE business unit with Site Leadership, SCM Site Leads, Buyers and program management
  • Solid experience in developing supplier relationships, supplier development, and supplier risk management
  • Adept in total cost management, cost modeling, and should-cost analysis
  • Collaborative mindset and strong project management, organizing, and analytical skills
  • Effective communication skills (incl. email, presentation), team facilitation and influencing skills
  • Ability to work well in a high-paced, dynamic and matrix environment, and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Skillful in business and spend analytics and familiar with ERP tools (Oracle, SAP, etc.)
  • Proficiency with commonly used applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Cognos, SharePoint, etc.

Required Education and Experience:

Education:  BSc/MSc in Supply Chain Management, Business Management/Engineering degree preferred.  Certification in Supply Chain profession preferred (e.x. CPSM, CSCP, CPIM, CSCMP, CPL, CPCM, etc.).
 

Experience:  5-10 years of category management and strategic sourcing experience, or related experience; A&D Industry experience highly preferred

Benefits are available 1st of the month following date of hire.

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that my be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of  Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
