What Drives Success

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sourcing Manager for Electrical Components to join our dynamic Controls Strategic Sourcing team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in one of the most dynamic and fastest-growing areas of the HVACR industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies to procure high-quality electrical components at competitive prices. This role requires a strong understanding of the electrical components market, excellent negotiation and organizational skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with contract manufacturers, electronic manufacturers and distributors, and internal engineering teams.

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for electrical components in the Controls Team to support production and operational needs at various EMS partners.
  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, technology, and service.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve the best pricing and favorable terms.
  • Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards, delivery schedules, sourcing processes, and strategic sourcing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to align sourcing strategies with demand and technology roadmaps.
  • Engage in new supplier evaluations and manage existing supplier relationships to foster collaboration and drive continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Develop a preferred supplier list and interface with Engineering to implement the PSL in new and existing product designs.
  • Analyze market trends and stay up to date on industry developments to identify new sourcing opportunities.
  • Prepare and present reports on sourcing activities, market analysis, and performance metrics to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as legal and regulatory requirements.
What We Are Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in sourcing or procurement with electrical components.
  • Strong understanding of the electronic distributor market and supply chain.
  • Strong understanding of electrical components, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent negotiations, presentation, analytical, planning, written, and verbal skills.
  • Proficient in data analysis and market research.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with PLM software
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to lead a cross functional commodity team and work across the organization at all levels.
What We Offer

Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $116,000 - $152,250 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.


Benefits: Subject to applicable eligibility requirements, the following benefits are offered for this role: tuition reimbursement; medical, dental, and vision insurance; prescription drug coverage; 401(k) retirement plan; short-term disability insurance; 8 weeks paid birthing leave; 2 weeks paid bonding leave; life and long-term disability insurance.


Depending on date of hire, and subject to applicable eligibility requirements, new employees in this role also receive up to: 12 days paid time off, 2 paid well-being days, 1 paid volunteer day, 12 paid holidays, and 3 floating holidays per year.
