Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities
  • You will be the Key team member in a cross-functional team responsible for interfacing between Product Development teams and the Supplier Management organization, including leading key deliverables for the sourcing segment for the total product life cycle.
  • You will be the primary contact for all Supply Chain issues matters related to installed base component obsolescence and quality.
  • Additionally, this role includes managing new product introduction deliverables required to establish an optimal supply chain focused on strategic suppliers with a strategy to achieve target product price for assigned segment.
  • You will lead sourcing initiatives from the outset to ensure excellence in supplier selection, component quality, and platform specifications. This includes selecting preferred suppliers, simplifying processes, meeting targets, and managing costs effectively.
  • Integrate Engineering, Production, and Sourcing objectives in the execution of assigned segment including promoting standardization across programs for supplied product and sourcing initiatives and to ensure excellence in supplier selection and component and platform specification driving supplier capability measurements for assigned programs.
  • Collaborate with engineering to ensure technology match occurs between supply partners and engineering & manufacturing to ensure capable product and factory fulfillment requirements are met.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field (Commercial, engineering or technical related field is desirable) 
  • Proven experience preferable in engineering or sourcing or manufacturing
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets analysis
  • Working experience with development and production of Medical Devices is considered a plus
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Experience with ePDM and Oracle systems is an advantage
