Role Overview:

The Launch Consultant supports the Startup Consulting team in guiding financial advisors through their transition to independence. This role plays an integral part in executing each phase of the transition, assisting with client management, project coordination, and resource preparation. The Startup Consultant leads projects, while working closely with Sr. Startup Consultants to ensure each client receives comprehensive, effective support in establishing their new practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leading client projects within our advisor-navigated offering

  • Assist in managing Full-Service engagements, supporting consultants in delivering high-quality guidance.

  • Help conduct initial practice assessments to gather client needs and goals.

  • Coordinate project timelines, tracking tasks and deliverables across multiple phases.

  • Support client onboarding with guidance on legal setup, branding, and compliance.

  • Provide clients with curated resources, templates, and checklists at each project stage.

  • Prepare and assist with client presentations, deliverables, and strategic recommendations.

  • Manage client documentation, maintain project records, and contribute to project reporting.

  • Collaborate with third-party vendors to coordinate branding, marketing, and technology support.

What we are looking for

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, organized professional with a strong interest in consulting and the independent financial advisor space. The ideal candidate is collaborative, quick to learn, and comfortable managing multiple tasks and timelines. They should have excellent communication skills, a strong customer service focus, and the ability to work well within a team to meet client needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in consulting, financial services, or startup support.

  • Strong project management skills, with experience leading multi-phase projects.

  • Knowledge of financial advisor transition processes, compliance, and business operations.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • 50% travel required

Preferences:

  • Prior experience with startups, independent advisory firms, or consulting to financial advisors.

  • Familiarity with CRM, project management, and fintech tools including Smartsheet, Tableau, ActiFi, etc

Pay Range:

$79,688-$132,813/year
 
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
