  • Where appropriate, works closely with UI/UX designers to create seamless user experiences.

  • Develops business cases to secure funding for new capabilities.

  • Collaborates with stakeholders and technology partners to define scope and align on roadmap prioritization and release schedule, including delivering feedback on existing products and introducing potential products/capabilities to the roadmap.

  • Partners closely with change management, marketing, operations, and other involved teams to identify operational and user implications/impacts as part of release planning; responsible for ensuring operational and business readiness, and contingency planning.

  • Acts as the liaison between business and engineering/delivery teams, representing the needs of the business while championing on behalf of the end user.

  • May write user stories, define acceptance criteria, and help define and document testing requirements (e.g., regression suites, test cases) for one or more scrum teams.

  • Supports and helps define the operational activities within the organization as needed.

Required Experience, Education and Skills:

  • 5+ years of previous product management experience.

  • Experience writing requirements in the form of user stories and collaborating with UX and engineering teams.

  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience as a Product Owner in an Agile Scrum environment, preferably in an IT or software development setting.

  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum framework, and product management best practices.

  • Experience managing multiple Scrum Teams and backlogs and working closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and business stakeholders.
