About the role:

We are looking for a highly experienced Staff iOS Engineer to help shape the future of AlphaSense’s mobile platform. In this role, you will have a significant impact on the architecture, quality, and direction of our iOS application as we expand our generative AI platform to enterprise users.

As a senior technical contributor, you’ll take ownership of the iOS app architecture, leveraging SwiftUI and Swift Package Manager (SPM) to build scalable, modular features. You’ll help define the technical roadmap, establish best practices, and partner with engineers across multiple teams to deliver a high-performing and reliable product experience. 

You will be at the forefront of solving highly complex and ambiguous technical challenges, often cross-functional in nature, driving solutions that align with our strategic goals. Your role will involve extensive cross-functional collaboration with other engineering teams, collaborating closely with product management, and leadership to ensure our technical vision aligns seamlessly with business objectives.

Requirements: 

  • Extensive experience developing best-in-class applications with Swift on iOS
  • Extensive experience applying SwiftUI in production-grade iOS apps, including performance and UX considerations
  • Deep expertise in mobile architectural design patterns, performance, scalability, and security.
  • Strong expertise in SPM, Async/Await & Actors, and GraphQL
  • A successful track record of leading significant technical projects and initiatives
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills 
  • Experience with setting technical standards, guiding multiple teams, and fostering a culture of technical excellence
  • Comfortable working with minimal guidance in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Solid experience with building CI/CD infrastructure and pipelines

You'll thrive in this role if you have:

  • Experience with enterprise mobile application development and MDM solutions
  • Experience with building design systems
  • Solid experience with backend development with Java/Kotlin, Node.js and/or Python

For base compensation, we set standard ranges for all roles based on function and level benchmarked against similar stage growth companies and internal comparables. In order to be compliant with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience/expertise and may vary from the amounts listed below. 

You may also be offered equity, and a generous benefits program.

Compensation Range
$202,000$278,000 USD
