About us:
Vantor is on a mission to unlock future of spatial intelligence today. A key pillar of this vision is the Tensorglobe platform. The Applied Science team aims to bring new and existing AI/ML capabilities to Tensorglobe through the consolidation and growth of our ML Platform.
You’ll lead a team of ML and DevOps engineers in building the foundations of our ML ecosystem through new tools and infrastructure to enable rapid experimentation and transition from protype to product. This team builds and maintains our scientific computing and machine learning orchestration systems, including satellite imagery processing pipelines, machine learning model training systems, high performance model serving and much more.
The position requires experience building and operating distributed data processing applications that scale, accelerate, and optimize scientific computing and machine learning workflows. You’ll take nascent capabilities into production and continue to enhance them as part of a broader team dedicated to making the Tensorglobe Analytics Engine run. This is a hands-on role with a people management component and a tremendous opportunity for growth.
What you’ll do:
Mature and deliver a vision for the unification of ML practices across the organization
Create a centralized capability for the development and deployment of models, from well understood production use-cases to Foundation model R&D and everything in between.
Bring new governance and observability capabilities to the ML lifecycle at Vantor.
Build systems that support analytics production at scale. This includes building tools and processes using our core engineering building blocks and maturing prototypes into production-ready pipelines.
Own the deployment and operation of ML systems that support products like Hub and Sentry.
Driven by our product management partners, you’ll help develop algorithmic solutions to complex customer problems, creating machinery that delivers unparalleled geospatial insights.
Through collaboration with our Applications team, you’ll build software systems that are guaranteed to directly support user- and mission-critical workflows.
