Job Description SummaryIn this role you will serve as the DevOps Pod Leader overseeing a team of contract worker developers to design, build, and support analytics solutions for the Supply Chain function, specifically in the Materials space for the Production System HK. The scope will include data engineering in the Enterprise Data Lake (Redshift), Spotfire visualizations, and supporting data ingestions from Redshift into Palantir Foundry. You will collaborate with DSC TPM to scope and prioritize application development needs, define and set operational support standards, contribute to development and support activities, and assess capacity and skillset needs and constraints within the development team.Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate application development and operational support activities within a software DevOps pod of with contractor resources
  • Apply data engineering expertise across team members and help with code development as needed
  • Define application developer and operational support standards and create standard work documentation
  • Assist in scoping and prioritizing application features across multiple Technical Product Managers and evaluate requests to determine potential impacts with the current system design/configuration
  • Assess skill and capacity gaps within DevOps pod
  • Architect and design sound/supportable technical solutions to complex business requirements
  • Provide support and maintenance of existing customizations and application functionality
  • Triage/debug production issues (Data, Code, Performance, Security, etc.), identify root cause and corrective actions
  • Develop new application enhancements
  • Document system changes
  • Review technical designs to ensure compliance with organizational standards
  • Train/Mentor less experienced resource

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 4 years of professional experience OR associate's degree with minimum of 7 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 9 years of professional experience

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with minimum years of experience 6 years.

  • Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience

Eligibility Requirement:

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.  We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.

The base pay range for this position is $110,700- $184,600. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan.  This posting is expected to close on November 28, 2025.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Previous data engineering experience and SQL skills are required
  • Python skills desired but not required
  • Understand the GEA Enterprise Data Lake ecosystem (Redshift, source ingestion, SQL data stitching)
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly understand new concepts and analyze system deficiencies
