Assist with the monthly financial close process including, but not limited to, customer invoicing, preparation & creation of general ledger entries, cash & other asset tracking, and balance sheet reconciliations as assigned.
Assist in preparation of the monthly financial reporting by researching and analyzing information from the general ledger system; providing support and explanation for flux analyses as requested.
Reconciliation of key Balance Sheet and Income Statement accounts as assigned
Primary lead on all Cash, Fixed Asset, and Private Equity transactions.
Assist in both the United States and India audits on an annual basis in data gathering and account analyses.
Answer accounting and financial questions from internal and external stakeholders by researching and interpreting data.
Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping financial information confident.
Ad hoc reporting and analysis of financial data as required.
Assist in the recording of intercompany transactions and reconciliation of our India and US books.
Other Duties and Responsibilities may include assisting with tax compliance and other non-routine departmental projects.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent Professional Certification
Experience:
Up to 3 Years in Accounting or related field
Strong understanding of US GAAP; India AS knowledge a plus
Skills:
Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with an ability to maintain efficiency and data accuracy
Proven ability to maintain confidentiality
Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office or equivalent tools
Ability to complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision
CPA License or Candidate
Workday Financials Certifications or System experience
Masters Degree or candidate
Prior Public Accounting experience a plus
