The Staff Accountant will post entries to the general ledger, reconcile accounts, assist with month-end close, and ensure compliance with accounting principles.

Responsibilities
- Posting daily and monthly entries to the general ledger
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger entries.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
- Assist with the month end and year end close.
- Maintaining files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
- Researching and assist with inquiries and requested information in a timely manner.
- Apply knowledge of Excel to analyze financial data, create models.
- Continuously seek ways to streamline accounting processes, workflows.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in accounting or a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with a major in accounting, finance, or economics.

- Verbal and written communication skills.
- The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office with a proficient excel spreadsheet aptitude.
