JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position Summary:
The Sr. Treasury Manager will be responsible for overseeing the company's daily treasury operations, including cash management, forecasting, banking relationships, and treasury system administration. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of treasury principles and practices, with proven experience in utilizing Treasury Management Systems (TMS), specifically Kyriba, and managing bank portals. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent analytical and communication skills, capable of working in a fast-paced environment. The Sr. Treasury Manager will supervise and coach a team of analysts in support of the Treasury department.
Responsibilities:
- Cash Management:
- Manage daily cash positioning and forecasting, ensuring adequate liquidity for operational needs.
- Optimize cash flow through effective management of receipts and disbursements.
- Monitor and manage bank balances and transactions.
- Implement and maintain effective cash concentration and disbursement strategies.
- Treasury Management System (TMS) Administration:
- Serve as the primary administrator for the Kyriba TMS, ensuring system integrity and efficiency.
- Configure and maintain system settings, user access, and workflows.
- Generate and analyze reports from Kyriba to support treasury decision-making.
- Troubleshoot system issues and collaborate with IT and vendor support as needed.
- Implement upgrades and maintain up to date knowledge of Kyriba.
- Bank Relationship Management:
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with banking partners.
- Manage bank account administration, including opening, closing, and maintaining accounts.
- Monitor and manage bank fees and services.
- Manage and utilize various bank portals for transactions, reporting, and account management.
- Negotiate Banking service agreements.
- Forecasting and Analysis:
- Develop and maintain short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts.
- Analyze cash flow trends and provide insights to management.
- Prepare and present treasury reports and presentations.
- Perform variance analysis between actual and forecasted results.
- Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate financial risks related to cash management and banking operations.
- Ensure compliance with treasury policies and procedures.
- Assist with the implementation of internal controls related to treasury functions.
- Other Duties:
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and regulatory changes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in treasury management, preferably in a large retail or corporate environment.
- Proven experience with Treasury Management Systems (TMS), specifically Kyriba.
- Strong understanding of bank portals and online banking platforms.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
- Strong understanding of cash management principles and practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation is a plus.
