As a Senior Trade Compliance Analyst here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in ensuring our import compliance processes meet regulatory requirements and support our global trade operations. You will focus on import compliance activities, including reporting, audits, training, customs broker management, and supporting Honeywell's Duty Drawback program, helping to maintain the integrity and efficiency of our trade compliance program.

You will report directly to our Trade Compliance Manager and work out of our Charlotte, NC location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact Honeywell’s ability to comply with complex import regulations, mitigate trade risks, and support seamless global supply chain operations. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) requirements and trade remedy laws, ensuring our business operates efficiently and legally.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and execute import compliance activities using CBP's Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) system, including running reports and performing administrative tasks
  • Monitor and apply U.S. Trade Remedies regulations, including Section 301, Section 232, Section 122, Antidumping, and Countervailing duty reviews
  • Support and manage Honeywell's Duty Drawback program to optimize recovery of duties paid on imported goods
  • Conduct training sessions and internal audits to ensure compliance with import regulations and company policies
  • Oversee customs broker relationships to ensure accurate and timely customs clearance
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of 19 CFR and Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS) regulations and apply them to import compliance processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support trade compliance initiatives and resolve compliance issues

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Proven experience with CBP's ACE system, including reporting and administrative functions
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. Trade Remedies such as Section 301, Section 232, Section 122, Antidumping, and Countervailing duty reviews
  • Experience managing customs broker relationships and conducting trade compliance audits and training
  • In-depth understanding of 19 CFR and HTSUS regulations
  • Experience with Duty Drawback programs and processes
  • Ability to interpret complex trade regulations and apply them effectively to import compliance processes
 

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, International Trade, Business, or related field
  • Experience in import compliance within a multinational corporation
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities
  • Knowledge of global trade compliance best practices and regulatory environment
  • Possession of or actively pursuing a U.S. Customs Broker License
