As a Strategic Sourcing Spec here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in developing and executing sourcing strategies to drive cost savings, improve supplier performance, and ensure supply chain continuity. You will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and managing supplier relationships to achieve business objectives. This role requires strong strategic thinking and the ability to drive change across the organization.

In this role, you will impact the company by driving cost savings through strategic sourcing initiatives, optimizing supplier relationships, and implementing best practices in procurement and supply chain management.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize costs, quality, and delivery performance
  • Conduct market research and supplier evaluations to identify strategic suppliers and onboard them
  • Lead supplier negotiations and contract management to ensure favorable terms and conditions
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier performance and supply chain efficiency
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to align sourcing strategies with business objectives
  • Monitor supplier performance and manage supplier relationships to mitigate risks and ensure compliance
Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 5+ years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or Finance
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Proven track record of driving cost savings and supplier performance improvement
  • Excellent negotiation and contract management skills

  • Master's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Knowledge of best practices in procurement and supply chain management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with supplier relationship management and supplier development
