What you’ll do

Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:

  • Responsible for creating a solution for the complete product end to end – technically and commercially.
  • Identify customer needs in context of the solution.
  • Develop and maintain a product development roadmap to deliver features and functions. Ensure alignment with the overall internal program and supplier milestones.
  • Track project tasks, workflow, priorities, and timing.
  • Review available solutions and propose improvements in technology and/or customer experience.
  • Liaise with the styling and concept teams to create innovative solutions for engineering and in-vehicle user experience.
  • Ensure maintenance and support for the solution over the development, testing and release phases
  • Circle back to review requirements from an end user perspective.
  • Strong knowledge of JIRA or similar project tracking systems.
  • Background in infotainment audio and antenna product development a plus.

Location & Travel Expectations:

  • This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Fremont, California, Charlotte, North Carolina, or Novi, Michigan.  
  • This role requires 4-5 days per week in the office, with regular in-person meetings and events. 
  • Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.
  • Travel: Domestic and international travel required. Valid driver's license required. Passport required.
What you’ll bring

  • Relevant degrees such as bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Technology, or Engineering Technology from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant Automotive SW Engineering (especially Digital Cockpit)
  • Minimum 8-12+ years of product/project management experience
  • Experience in platforms, variants, module selection and modification in the automotive industry is desired.
  • Exposure to Automotive technologies in Android Automotive, Vehicle Electronics, AUTOSAR, Telematics, ADAS / AD, Analytics, Cloud / Backend, Validation and Verification is desired.
  • Knowledge of regulatory authorities with jurisdiction over the automobile industry & safety regulations
  • Exceptional work ethic, strong interpersonal skills, communication, collaboration, innovation, ownership, ability to develop & mutually thrive in working relationships.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Pay Transparency

This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.

Initial base salary range = $130,000.00 - $160,000.00

Initial California base salary range = $143,000 - $176,000
