What You Will Do
- Translates complex business requirements and functional specifications into executable stories, designs, and code modules; partners with product teams to understand business needs and functional specifications.
- Independently writes high quality, maintainable, and robust code by building adequate test suits and observability framework.
- Guides application and software development teams in the design and build of complex solutions and ensures teams are in alignment with the architecture blueprint, standards, and strategies.
Frontend (React.js with TypeScript & JavaScript):
- Build dynamic, type-safe user interfaces using React with TypeScript.
- Implement reusable components and manage state using Redux, Zustand, or Context API.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and handle asynchronous data flows.
Backend (Spring Boot + Spring Batch):
- Design and implement batch processing jobs using Spring Batch for large-scale data operations.
- Develop microservices using Spring Boot, ensuring modularity and scalability.
- Build and expose RESTful APIs for frontend and third-party integrations.
Databases (PostgreSQL & MongoDB):
- Design and manage relational schemas in PostgreSQL for structured data.
- Use MongoDB for flexible, document-based storage needs.
Microservices Architecture:
- Develop and maintain loosely coupled services with clear API contracts..
- Ensure inter-service communication via REST or messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
Minimum Qualifications
- 4 years of experience in any of following competencies: frontend technologies (user interface/user experience), middleware (microservices and application programming interfaces), database technologies, or DevOps
- 4 years of experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC) through iterative agile development
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer information systems (CIS), or related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree) and 5 years of experience in software development or a related field
Preferred Skills/Education
- Hands-on experience in developing backend applications with Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience building microservices and working with Kafka for messaging.
- Expertise in writing automated tests using BDD tools (Cucumber, JUnit, Mockito).
- Experience with Bitbucket, Maven/Gradle for version control and CI/CD processes.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB databases.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Elasticsearch, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Ability to solve complex problems, think creatively, and thrive in an agile environment.
