The Sr Manager, Product Management leads a product team responsible for a specific product or set of products, including leading the research and product development efforts as well as implementation and execution of the product strategy. This role works with a high level of autonomy and discretion and has responsibility for products and all strategic and tactical work associated with designing and delivering the products within scope of responsibility. This role includes responsibility for setting team expectations, delegating assignments and managing performance, identifying talent needs, and coaching and developing team members.

This position is based at our on-site Tech Hub in Charlotte, North Carolina. Lowe's Tech Hub is an ultramodern work environment, complete with cutting-edge technology, collaborative workspaces, an on-site barista and Zen Garden, and other perks to enhance your work experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and managing cross-functional roadmaps to deliver user value.
  • Building partnerships to enhance efficiencies and improve product design.
  • Identifying and resolving issues that may impact product success.
  • Leading product journey-mapping and making trade-off decisions.
  • Setting standards for product quality and user adoption.
  • Establishing product operating routines and using metrics to drive insights.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to develop product market fit strategies.
  • Aligning product plans with business partners and leveraging data for decision-making.
  • Leading a team to achieve the company's mission and fostering an inclusive environment.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 8 years of experience in two or more of the following: project management, product management, business analysis, program management, experimentation, or product marketing
  • 4 years of experience in product and/or experience management with experience partnering with technology and user experience teams in translating business strategy into prioritized specific product features and requirements
  • 3 years of experience in an agile software environment with demonstrated delivery of business results
  • Experience leading project or technical teams with or without formal direct report responsibility; this includes experience providing technical direction, thought leadership, coaching and mentoring to team members
  • Demonstrated proficiency in product marketing with experience working cross-functionally in a large organization with senior leadership
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, communications, or related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree)

Preferred Skills/Education:
  • Experience leading the digital product roadmap
  • Experience with direct report responsibility in a top retailer, managing operational and/or project financial budgets
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner
  • Master's Degree in Business administration or similar advanced degree
