A strategic and execution-focused Sr. Product Marketing Manager to help shape ThreatDown’s product narrative and bring our cybersecurity solutions to market with clarity and impact. In this role, you’ll own product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market execution for key products and initiatives, working closely with Product, Revenue, Sales Enablement, Demand Generation, and within Marketing.
This role is ideal for a seasoned product marketer who thrives at the intersection of strategy and delivery—someone who can translate complex security technology into compelling customer value, lead launches end-to-end, and influence cross-functional partners.
Target Compensation: 120 – 135K
What You Will Do:
- Craft and continuously evolve clear, compelling positioning and messaging frameworks tailored to target personas (e.g., CISOs, security architects, IT leaders, MSPs, VARs).
- Translate complex security technologies (e.g., endpoint protection, threat detection/response) into differentiated value propositions.
- Define and maintain competitive landscaping and messaging that distinguishes ThreatDown from incumbent and emerging players.
- Lead cross-functional planning and execution of GTM strategies for product launches, major feature releases, and pricing/packaging updates.
- Set success metrics for launches and tie performance back to pipeline, adoption, and revenue impact.
- Collaborate within Marketing to amplify launch impact to increase engagement, awareness and win rates.
- Build and deliver sales enablement playbooks, battlecards, pitch decks, objection handling guides, and enablement training to ensure consistent customer messaging.
- Conduct deep buyer, market, and competitor research to inform positioning, persona development, pricing strategy, and messaging refinement.
- Lead win/loss analysis, product usage insights, and customer feedback loops to support product strategy and roadmap decisions.
Skills You'll Need to Have:
- 5–8+ years of B2B cybersecurity product marketing experience, endpoint security experience HIGHLY preferred
- Proven experience owning product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market execution for complex products.
- Strong storytelling and content creation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively to both technical and business audiences.
- Strong cross-team collaboration skills and successful experience working with Product, Revenue, Sales Enablement and Marketing teams.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment with multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated strength in project and program management, with experience operating in a process-driven environment to plan, prioritize, and execute complex, cross-functional initiatives on time and at scale.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.
