Position:Sr. Product Marketing Manager

Position Summary:If you are energized by the thought of teaming with key stakeholders including demand generation, corporate marketing, product management, and sales to transform client value into revenue-driving solutions, then this is the role for you. The Senior Product Marketing Manager at Lumeris plays a key role in bridging the gap between product development and the market. The primary responsibility is to ensure that the product’s value proposition, messaging, and positioning resonate with the target audience, ultimately driving product adoption and business growth.
Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing, you will develop effective market-facing content; plan and execute optimal go-to-market strategies; and provide data-based market insights and analysis to help move the needle in high-visibility area of our business.
You will apply your data gathering and analytical skills; critical thinking; and subject matter expertise to drive cross-functional collaboration with leadership to create revenue-impacting tools, content, and guidance.

Job Description:

Product positioning and messaging:

  • Create and refine the product’s messaging framework to clearly define its unique selling points, benefits, and differentiators, and that articulates buyer-specific value propositions.
  • Ensure that product messaging aligns with the brand and is consistent across all customer touchpoints (website, sales material, etc.)
  • Collaborate with product teams to ensure the product meets customer needs and that the messaging accurately reflects the value it delivers.

Content development and thought leadership:

  • Develop engaging demand generation and sales enablement content for all phases of the sales funnel to support penetration and conversion programs.
  • Lead articulation of ROI story for client buyer and influencer personas
  • Ensure that all market-facing content is anchored in defensible differentiators
  • Develop compelling content, including whitepapers, eBooks, and videos that demonstrate thought leadership and product expertise

Market insight and analysis:

  • Inform all aspects of go-to-market with primary and secondary market research; competitive landscape assessment; and industry analysis
  • Identify industry trends and dynamics, providing analysis and positioning for both internal stakeholders and clients
  • Partner with product management to provide insights on client adoption to inform new tools, investments, and programs

Go-to-market:

  • Lead cross-functional teams in developing and executing launch or release strategy and plan; ensuring launch readiness; and post-launch monitoring and reporting.
  • Partner with product management to devise and execute release communication strategy, and provide market and data inputs to prioritize product roadmap investment.
  • Partner with sales on training including product launch, value proposition, and competitive differentiation.

Customer advocacy and feedback:

  • Engage with key customers and stakeholders to gather feedback on the product and market trends.
  • Identify product champions and leverage customer success stories to build case studies, testimonials, and references.
  • Work with customer success to understand customer satisfaction and retention metrics, ensuring that marketing strategies align with customer needs and challenges.

Qualities:

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to synthesize large amounts of data into coherent recommendations.
  • Strong presentation skills; confident and capable delivering and defending recommendations and other information to varied audiences including clients, sales teams, and executives.
  • Cross-functional collaboration competence; ability to adapt to effectively work with wide range of functions and stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize and simplify complex information.
  • Ability to write/edit persuasively, clearly, and succinctly.
  • Ability to perform in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent
  • 5+ years in consulting, sales, product development, product marketing, healthcare administration, or related field or the knowledge, skills, and abilities to succeed in the role
  • Experience in healthcare administration (provider and/or payer), healthcare/med-tech solutions, population health solutions or other related industry
  • Strong knowledge in payer and/or provider strategy with a strong familiarity with the hurdles & opportunities within the provider space as they transition from Fee-For-Service model of care to Fee-For-Value reimbursement model
  • Familiarity/experience with healthcare economics (specifically payer and provider value-based reimbursement) and healthcare market trends with the ability to rapidly acquire information through various sources to make educated judgements
  • Financial acumen and expertise to understand and frame pricing, develop commercial insights, and return on investment analyses
  • Highly skilled at achieving product-market fit and the ability to grow Lumeris in new and existing markets
  • Sharp communication skills and ability to influence and yield results at all levels internally and externally
  • Strong cross-functional capabilities and understanding of the healthcare landscape to commercialize products

Preferred

  • Master's Degree or other advanced degree

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee works in normal office working conditions.

Pay Transparency:

Factors that may be used to determine your actual pay rate include your specific skills, experience, qualifications, location, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to the base salary, certain roles may qualify for a performance-based incentive and/or equity, with eligibility depending on the position. These rewards are based on a combination of company performance and individual achievements.

The hiring range for this position is:

$98,400.00-$132,225.00
