Position Overview
We're searching for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to join our team of product marketing professionals, responsible for the strategy, planning, and messaging required to help our products win in the market. We need a skilled B2B product marketer with experience in messaging, market intelligence, go-to-marketing planning, and launch execution. This exciting role will be collaborating cross-functionally with product management, customer experience, sales, and the broader marketing team. This role is perfect for someone who is looking to thrive on a fast-paced and rapidly evolving product marketing team. As Applied's product portfolio and the function of product marketing expand, Applied needs product marketers that are skilled collaborators, strong writers, trusted product and market experts, and can act as internal and external champions for their products. As a key member of the team, the person selected for this role will play a huge role supporting this expansion as the product marketer for a subset of Applied's largest agency management solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team and organization undergoing transformation with the ability to contribute to the success of both.
What You'll Do
  • Strategy - In partnership with Product Management, set go-to-market priorities for your products based on market intelligence, organizational readiness, business priorities, and resources
  • Messaging - Clearly communicate Applied products' unique value propositions through formal messaging frameworks and various formats of marketing-facing content and collateral (e.g. PPTs, one-pagers, website, etc.)
  • Product Launches - Plan and project manage the marketing launch of new products and releases to drive the biggest revenue and adoption impact across target markets
  • Sales Enablement - Support the sales enablement team with clear strategies, GTM alignment, messaging, and resources to impact sales and partner revenue
  • Market intelligence - Gather, aggregate, and synthesize voice-of-market insights across internal and external inputs (e.g., win/loss analysis, competitive intelligence, customer advisory boards, pilot programs, etc.) to inform product and go-to-market strategies
  • Demand Generation - Develop messaging and support strategy of field marketing and sales/business development efforts across markets and segments
  • Team - Support the growth and development goals of the product marketing discipline and organization at Applied by contributing to and adopting new processes, standards, and product marketing best practices

We're Excited to Learn More About You
Your experience may include:
  • 5-7 years' experience in B2B product marketing organizations, with a strong preference for experience with high-growth enterprise SaaS companies
  • Demonstrable experience planning and leading cross-departmental product launches, programs, and projects is required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience developing differentiated product positioning, using clear language, and creating compelling narratives.
  • Proven success working cross-functionally with product, sales, customer success, and multiple functions within marketing
  • Substantive experience in the insurance or insurance software industry is a strong plus
  • Self-starter and motivated individual who is disciplined, creative, and independent
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, technology, or related field.
