How many times have you analyzed your car insurance rates against the market—this quarter? Are you comfortable in uncomfortable situations? We’re looking for someone to step into a temporary role for approximately 3.5 months, acting as a strategic business partner to multiple departments across the company. You’ll be joining a lean but high-impact team in a fast-paced environment that continues to evolve. The right person will hold themselves to a higher standard than most, have a real passion for getting results, and take pride in exceeding customer expectations.
Your daily impact as a Sr. Procurement Manager
- Directly support internal customers’ needs related to the sourcing of goods and services.
- For new projects, drive the Source-to-Contract process: from receipt of business requirements to market assessment, negotiating terms, redlining and shepherding contracts to signature.
- Manage ongoing renewals: engaging the business owners, suppliers and strategic Procurement partners to optimize and
- Act as liaison with other key partners (Legal, Security & Compliance, Accounts Payable, etc.)
- Step into role as primary owner for administration and enhancement of Procurement’s Intake & Orchestration tool.
- Continuously evaluate ways to improve processes and gain efficiencies in day-to-day activities, as well as larger-scale, complex projects.
Your Experience and Expertise
- 7-10 years related experience.
- Strong strategic sourcing, project management, financial analysis, business and contract negotiation skills.
- Compelling influencing and persuasion skills.
- Demonstrate high Emotional Intelligence.
- You ALWAYS get the bigger piece of the wishbone.
- Ability to deliver results in a changing environment where flexibility is needed to meet the demands of various priorities and deadlines.
Nice To Have’s
- Experience sourcing Technology and Marketing a plus.
- CPSM (or similar certification) preferred.
- You study the price tags at the store to calculate the cost per square inch of scotch tape to make the right selection and get the best deal.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Supply Chain or related business field.
For candidates in California, Colorado, and New York City, the Targeted hourly Salary Range for this role is $65 to $75 hourly.
Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to work experience, specialized skills and training, performance in role, business needs, and job requirements. Base salary is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
