Come join our team where you’ll make technology happen in surprising ways. Let’s shape tomorrow - it’ll be a fun journey!
Your role:
As a Sr. Principal Product Designer focused on the Cart & Checkout domain, you will serve as a design leader across one of the most critical areas of the customer journey — shaping how resellers and their customers move from cart creation and management to completed transactions with greater clarity, confidence, and efficiency. You’ll set strategic design direction, influence cross-functional decision-making, and deliver high-quality solutions that balance user needs, business goals, and platform scalability. Partnering closely with Product Managers, Engineering, and business stakeholders, you will design exceptional experiences that support Customers (Resellers), End Customers, Vendors, and internal Associates.
You have relentlessly high standards, thrive in complex environments, and know how to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity, aligning diverse stakeholders, and designing scalable, intuitive experiences that support both user needs and business goals.
In this role, you will:
Lead design strategy and execution across key areas of our Cart & Checkout domain, helping shape how customers review, manage, and complete transactions across complex B2B workflows.
Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders (including other UX Designers) to understand technical, operational, and user challenges, and translate that complexity into clear, effective solutions.
Design experiences that improve cart management, checkout flow, order review, handoff, and related transactional moments across the broader customer journey.
In partnership with our UXR team, support user research, usability testing, and customer conversations to uncover insights, validate ideas, and inform design direction.
Rapidly prototype, visualize, and iterate on solutions based on feedback, technical realities, and strategic priorities.
Present and defend design recommendations to senior leaders and executive stakeholders, clearly articulating tradeoffs, rationale, and expected impact.
Provide leadership, mentorship, and creative direction to other designers, helping elevate craft, strategic thinking, and collaboration across the team.
Work closely with cross-functional partners – including Product, Engineering, Content, and adjacent domain teams – to ensure connected, cohesive experiences across the platform.
Collaborate with our Design System team and contribute actively to our design system, shared patterns, UX best practices, and culture-building efforts across our global Experience Design organization.
What you bring to the role:
Bachelor’s degree in UX, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
10+ years of UX/Product Design experience, with a strong track record of independently leading large, complex initiatives from concept through implementation.
Deep expertise in user-centered design, interaction design, information architecture, and visual design.
Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, influence across functions, and deliver measurable outcomes in fast-paced Agile and/or Lean UX environments.
Strong systems thinking and the ability to design within complex transactional ecosystems and interconnected workflows.
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills, with experience influencing senior stakeholders and executive leadership.
Expert proficiency in design tools such as Figma, with the ability to work fluidly across multiple levels of fidelity.
Demonstrated experience partnering closely with Engineering teams, with a solid understanding of front-end implementation considerations and platform constraints.
A strong portfolio showing your ability to drive clarity, quality, and impact within complex product spaces.
Nice to have:
Experience designing for complex B2B SaaS platforms, technology distribution, e-commerce, procurement, or enterprise transaction workflows.
Familiarity with cart, checkout, quote-to-order, purchasing, order management, or related commerce experiences.
Experience designing for multiple user types, including external customers and internal business users.
Experience designing with and for AI-enabled tools or workflows.
Note: We understand that candidates may not meet every single requirement listed. If you're excited about this role but your experience doesn’t align perfectly, we encourage you to apply anyway – we’d still love to hear from you.
