This position is responsible for developing and implementing workplace and facilities management (WFM) operations and administration best practices and solutions. This Position collaborates with others on the delivery of comprehensive, efficient and best-in-class WFM operations and administration practices/platforms, strategies and solutions that provide optimized and effective workplace facilities management outcomes across all property types. This position may evaluate and support the improvement of the day-to-day integrated facilities management practices, operational reliability and effectiveness of property services and building operating systems, workplace experience services (including internal resources and vendors) and the delivery of hospitality centered services to property occupants.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the management of workplace and facilities management operational and administrative services related to management operation, maintenance, and the related category service delivery of all Charter properties with the primary focus on customer and user/partner experience, seamless service delivery, and supporting operational efficiency
  • Responsible for supporting an effective forecasting, planning, and execution methodology for facilities repairs and investments as well as facilities management recurring services to ensure that properties continue to perform as intended, meet business requirements, are safe and reliable and maintain their value
  • Manage and ensure proper staffing to provide effective workplace and facilities management service delivery of related support tasks and supervision of support functions daily, including workplace and facilities helpdesk and triage services, space and floorplan data management (CAFM), and WFM analytical and reporting support
  • May administer personnel related functions including recruiting, training, and mentoring staff
  • Administer and manage assorted WFM systems and process training for team as well as other Charter business partners
  • Collaborate with and support Finance/Business Planning and other partners related to planning, reporting, and managing financial activities as well as applying and following Charter financial policies and procedures
  • Provide Administrative management of preferred performance management and assessment practices, functional tools and resources, Capex and Opex planning support, and other workplace and facilities management administrative priorities as needed
  • Oversee assigned vendors and develop vendor performance management practices that ensure that all related work is performed and completed in accordance with contract, statement of work, and Charter expectations. Review and approve invoicing ensuring correct coding and work completion
  • Apply KPIs and performance metrics to support operations and administrative improvement practices and strategies as well as mastery of current processes and making recommendations in which efficiencies can be obtained
  • Collaborate with Charter business partners in the delivery of a comprehensive occupancy experience tools and solutions
  • Lead, manage, and support facilities space planning (examples: business restacks, personnel moves, adds and seat changes, etc.), facilities management data analytics, and corrective repair, replacement, and/or facilities maintenance triage processes for WFM managed categories through the oversight of our CAFM system/team, our WFM Data Analytics team, and our Helpdesk management function/team
  • Perform other duties as assigned


REQUIRED QUALIFICATION
Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge

  • General understanding of building construction with ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Advanced ability to communicate in a clear, professional manner with all levels of employees, customers and suppliers, both in writing and verbally
  • Basic knowledge of fire prevention and other building safety programs and practices
  • Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT regulations
  • Basic knowledge of quantitative and qualitative methods for safety management
  • Knowledge of environmental auditing, incident investigation and reporting
  • Strong knowledge of financial terms, principles and corporate budgeting practices
  • Skilled at applying and utilizing KPIs and performance metrics through benchmarking and best practices
  • Experience transforming team focus, performance, and orientation
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality


Certifications and/or Licenses
Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record within Company required standards
Required Education
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field, or combination of education and experience
Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years
Facilities management experience 5+
Office and Occupancy Services management experience 5+
Supervisory experience 3+/-
Cross- functional commercial or corporate real estate discipline experience
