Your Impact
The Sr Manager, Digital Category Optimization is responsible for operationalizing digital commerce strategies across multiple merchandising divisions by converting customer insights, behavioral data, and competitive intelligence into coordinated cross-functional initiatives that improve the online shopping journey on Lowes.com.
This role works closely with merchandising leadership, product teams, SEO, navigation, and digital execution partners to prioritize and implement initiatives that enhance discoverability, content quality, and purchase path performance. The Sr Manager oversees complex programs spanning multiple product categories and ensures initiatives are executed consistently across teams supporting the assigned merchandising divisions.
The Sr Manager leads a team responsible for generating insights, prioritizing opportunities, and driving cross-functional execution plans that improve customer experience and online revenue performance across assigned business areas ($800M - $3.5B annually).

What You Will Do
- Translate enterprise and digital commerce priorities into actionable initiatives that enhance the online customer experience across 1-2 merchandising divisions.
- Lead cross-functional optimization programs that improve product discovery, taxonomy structure, navigation pathways, product content quality, SEO performance, and post-transaction customer experience.
- Guide the team in analyzing customer behavior, digital engagement metrics, and competitive benchmarks to identify and prioritize opportunities that improve conversion and category performance.
- Develop structured opportunity roadmaps that sequence initiatives and align cross-functional teams on priorities, scope, and delivery timelines.
- Partner with merchandising, product management, SEO, navigation, and execution teams to coordinate implementation of digital optimization initiatives.
- Facilitate alignment across stakeholders to ensure initiatives are executed consistently and support enterprise digital growth objectives.
- Oversee a portfolio of initiatives that collectively improve the digital shopping experience across assigned categories and merchandising divisions.
- Establish frameworks and analytical approaches that help the team evaluate digital experience performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Lead the development of weekly insights and recommendations that inform category strategies and guide cross-functional action.
- Maintain integrated planning calendars that align optimization initiatives with merchandising priorities and key business milestones.
- Lead a team in support of achieving the company's mission. Manage performance and foster an inclusive environment to help associates achieve their potential.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance or related field or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
- 8-9 years of digital, online, ecommerce and/or retail experience
- 4-6 years of people leadership experience
