Sr. Manager, SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting
Intapp is seeking a leader of SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting to join our global accounting team. This new role will lead our SEC reporting and technical accounting team. The successful candidate will ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all financial reports filed with the SEC, stay current with new accounting standards and regulations, and maintaining a robust internal control environment to support SOX compliance.
This position will report into Finance, department of the Corporate Controller.
What you will do:
· Leading the financial reporting and technical accounting team in drafting and filing all financial documents and SEC filings including form 10-Q, 10-K, Proxy and other adhoc registration statements
· Monitor and analyze new accounting pronouncements and SEC regulations to determine their impact on the company and implement necessary changes.
· Manage the preparation and maintenance of the external reporting process, including the balance sheet, income statement, statement of cash flows, statement of stockholders’ equity, EPS calculations, share-based compensation and M&A accounting.
· Partner with the Investor Relations department in supporting the preparation of the quarterly earnings script, investor presentations and related adhoc supports.
· Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors during annual audits and quarterly reviews.
· Provide technical accounting guidance to the finance team and other business units including develop reference guides to support the business in understanding the accounting implications of routine transactions
· Lead technical accounting projects including establishing accounting policies, supporting Corporate Development and FP&A on M&A activities, and other ad hoc projects as assigned
· Prepare and deliver presentations to senior management and the audit committee regarding technical accounting matters and SOX compliance status.
· Mentor and develop the SEC reporting and technical accounting team
What you will need:
· Minimum of 10 years experience, with at least 5 years of experience in public accounting and a mix with a strong background in SEC Reporting and Technical accounting role in a public company
· Experience working directly with accounting, FP&A, Legal and Investor Relations teams providing these departments with support mentioned above is critical.
· In-depth knowledge of GAAP including share-based compensation, EPS, business combination, SEC regulations, and SOX requirements.
· Proven ability to lead and manage a team.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of management.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
· Experience working in a public company environment with requirements to comply with SOX.

Your actual base salary will be determined by factors such as relevant experience, geographic location, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, variable compensation and equity may also be included.
