We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior IT Support and Operations Specialist to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive approach to problem-solving, a deep understanding of current cloud-based technologies, and an unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT services, providing top-tier support to our users, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Technology Support

    • Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.

    • Support employees with software installations, configurations, and updates, including collaboration tools and video conferencing.

  • Logistics

    • Oversee the procurement, inventory, deployment, and tracking of IT equipment and assets.

    • Manage hardware shipping, receiving, and proper disposal or recycling of outdated technology.

  • Hardware Lifecycle Management

    • Develop and implement IT asset lifecycle strategies, including upgrades and replacements.

    • Track warranties, maintenance status, and ensure accurate asset documentation.

  • Knowledge Management

    • Maintain an IT support knowledge base, documenting common issues and resolutions.

    • Promote best practices and facilitate knowledge sharing among IT support staff.

  • Training and Enablement

    • Conduct training sessions and create resources to support user adoption of IT tools.

    • Provide onboarding and ongoing IT education to enhance employee productivity.

  • System Administration

    • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across IT systems.

    • Contribute to IT projects and major initiatives, ensuring alignment with business needs.
       

What You’ll Bring

  • 4+ years of experience providing exceptional technology support to users in a globally-distributed,  hybrid or fully-remote environment

  • Strong experience administering collaboration tools such as Google Workspace, Jira, Slack and Zoom

  • Hands-on experience managing IT asset lifecycle, including procurement, deployment, and decommissioning.

  • Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM), user provisioning, and security best practices using Okta.

  • Experience managing end user lifecycle processes from the IT perspective.

  • Ability to document IT processes and contribute to a knowledge base for self-service support.

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate across time zones in a highly autonomous environment.

  • Excellent communication skills with a customer-first mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
     

Nice to Have

  • Strong organizational skills with experience managing IT projects and process improvements.

  • Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST) and compliance best practices.

  • Prior experience in a fast-growing software or tech startup environment.

  • Scripting or automation knowledge (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) or low-code/no-code automation tools (Jira Automation, Okta Workflows, Workato, Zapier) to improve IT operations.
     

Salary Disclosure:Base Salary range: $110,000 - $130,000

This represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on factors including geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other job related factors. Socure's compensation and rewards package for full time roles includes a market competitive salary, equity,  comprehensive benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans or an annual discretionary performance bonus.
