Description
This Sr. Instructional Designer - AI Enablement collaborates with the Revenue Enablement leadership team to design, develop and implement first-class, AI-focused development programs and learning experiences that build AI capability across customer-facing teams and support CDW's strategies and business goals.
What you will do
* Lead program management for AI enablement programs including needs assessment, feedback and prioritization processes, instructional design, development, implementation, stakeholder communications and evaluation of learning solution outcomes.
* Partner with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to create training programs that support AI product knowledge, AI solution positioning, and AI-related sales and consulting competencies.
* Design and develop AI-focused learning solutions for customer-facing coworkers, including technical AI knowledge, AI solution selling skills, and practical AI adoption in day-to-day work.
* Research and provide instructional design, best digital practices and industry trends, including AI and emerging learning technologies, to support organizational initiatives.
* Participate in project teams and identify areas of opportunity, develop recommendation proposals, and implement appropriate AI Enablement solutions to drive business outcomes.
* Develop, manage and execute project management strategies to ensure effective resource allocation, commitment from project team members, timeliness and attainment of business requirements
* Effectively measure and assess participants' skills and client satisfaction related to provided services. Establish strategies for addressing gaps. Advise on methods and approaches to reinforce skills.
* Leads development and enhancement of assessment tools ensuring fair and unbiased evaluation.
* Provide ongoing program feedback and communication updates to stakeholders.
* Lead and apply project management skills consistently throughout assigned deliverables.
* Mentor and coach junior team members.
* Leverage artificial intelligence tools and technologies to accelerate instructional design, content development, multimedia production, personalization, and learning experience innovation.
* Manage and maintain curriculum review process with subject matter experts to ensure up-to-date and relevant content.
What we expect of you
Minimum basic requirements
* Bachelor's Degree and 5 years' experience in Learning & Development, Organizational Development / Effectiveness or related areas or 9 years' experience in Learning & Development, Organizational Development / Effectiveness or related areas.
* Demonstrated instructional design and project management experience with a successful track record of increasing learner knowledge, performance and effectiveness.
* Demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive and collaborative relationships cross-functionally.
* Experience developing training and enablement programs focused on AI technologies, AI solution positioning and sales, and workplace productivity applications of AI tools.
* Experience supporting AI go-to-market, sales enablement, presales, consulting, or technology adoption programs.
* Aptitude for new concepts and technologies with the ability to quickly put them into practical use.
* Track record of balancing competing priorities with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with and present to stakeholders at all levels.
* Strong creative problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Demonstrated time management skills.
* Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, collaboration platforms and learning design programs.
* Proficient in learning management systems (LMS) and learning experience course creation, authoring and gamified learning platforms and tools. For example, Articulate 360, RISE360, Adobe Captivate, ELB, Kahoot!
* Proficient in AI writing, design, image, audio and video creation tools. For example, Synthesia, Canva, DALL-E.
* Proficient in video and VR production tools.
* Up to 10% travel. Preferred skills, experience, qualities needed
* Degree focused in Business Administration, Communications, Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development / Effectiveness or Adult Learning
* Knowledge of innovative learning tools
* Knowledge of the technology industry
* Strong knowledge of advanced sales skills and strategy
* Technical acumen
* Knowledge of adult learning principles.
* History of working with sales and services organizations to increase revenue and profit performance.
