JOB SUMMARY



VAST Data is searching for a high energy, experienced, Sr. Field Marketing Manager to join our marketing team managing the North American region. He/she will be responsible for the development and execution of the holistic marketing plan that integrates all pipeline drivers across the region, opening doors into new accounts and helping to move them through the sales cycle.

You will work closely with the regional sales team to understand region-specific priorities in addition to partnering with the Corporate Marketing team to create targeted marketing campaigns and initiatives that deliver best of breed content and experiences for our customers and prospects in assigned region.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define programmatic marketing plans to create a quality pipeline and accelerate the sales cycle, with creative and relevant campaigns targeting large enterprise accounts, various levels of persona and verticals in alignment with the business and sales stakeholder objectives.
  • Understand the market trends in the region, drive tailored marketing programs, and expand our total addressable marketing with qualitative accounts and contacts for North America.
  • Engage with our ecosystem of clients, partners, influencers, strategic alliances and develop a strong regional community of VAST Data ambassadors.
  • Build and execute integrated regional marketing programs aligned to priorities and revenue targets, including, but not limited to demand generation campaigns, tradeshows, field events, and partner programs that allow us to scale in the region.
  • Work cross-functionally to oversee the timely execution of the field-marketing plan and collaborate with the business development team and sales to ensure strong follow-through on sourced leads.
  • Support the development of customer use case stories and build an engaged customer base. Teaming with the sales team, corporate marketing, and partner community to grow the voice of our customers.
  • Working as a partner of our corporate communications team and press relations agency, support thought leadership and brand awareness across the region.
  • Communicate all marketing plans, activities, and report program results consistently to the field teams.
  • Manage the regional marketing budget and take accountability for the ROI.
  • Build trust and partner with sales in order to gain buy-in, understanding and participation in marketing programs.
  • Bachelor's degree, emphasis in marketing preferred.
  • A minimum of 8 years field marketing experience supporting account executives and sales leadership.
  • Knowledge of funnel lead generation tactics and sources.
  • Self-motivated, able to work autonomously and communicate with remote management for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to be creative, efficient, and productive with minimal supervision or guidance.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal & written).
  • Experience working with geographically dispersed teams and colleagues.
  • Ability to coordinate, manage, and execute multiple marketing campaigns concurrently.
  • Ability to execute quickly with the ability to pivot projects as needs change.
  • Familiarity with the technology sales cycle and how to employ marketing communication strategies to nurture leads, drive adoption and accelerate growth.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth organization.
  • A strong team player – comfortable and motivated working in a collaborative environment, with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
