PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $125,700.00-$153,600.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $97,400.00 - $181,800.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

BENEFITS

Employees and their eligible family members have access to a wide array of employee benefits, such as medical, dental, vision and life insurance coverage.  Employees have access to disability and AD&D insurance.  We also offer health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts, as well as health savings accounts, to eligible employees.  Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan and employer-funded retirement plan.  Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. As a Senior Enterprise Project Manager at BECU, you’ll play a pivotal role in bringing strategic initiatives to life. You’ll guide and shape the delivery of complex, high-impact projects that span technology and business functions, all while keeping stakeholders aligned and focused on measurable results. Your ability to collaborate, influence, and lead cross-functional teams will help transform ideas into outcomes that support our members, empower our teams, and advance the credit union’s mission.

To join this dynamic team, we require candidates to be residents of WA, ID, OR, AZ ,TX, SC or GA. If you’re located in Washington state and within a reasonable driving distance from Tukwila, we are requesting that you come into our HQ on Tuesdays & Wednesdays.  For those candidates that live outside the commute distance of TFC and in any of our approved remote locations, this role will be remote. Remote or onsite, we are committed to ensuring you are fully engaged and included in our collaborative environment. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Lead Strategic Projects: Own the end-to-end delivery of enterprise-level projects—from initial planning through execution to closure—ensuring alignment with business goals and measurable outcomes.
  • Deliver innovative and impactful digital solutions that help members improve their financial well-being.  Institutionalize enhanced approaches, tools, and processes that accelerate and de-risk BECU's product development and delivery process.
  • Champion Agile and Traditional Methods: Apply the right project management methodology (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) to fit the needs of each initiative while keeping teams focused and productive.
  • Create Clear Vision & Value: Collaborate with stakeholders to define business outcomes, scope, and success measures—and keep them front and center throughout delivery.
  • Orchestrate Teams & Resources: Build and manage work plans, resource schedules, and timelines across complex, multi-disciplinary efforts while balancing priorities and capacity.
  • Drive Transparent Communication: Adhere to project governance, facilitate product committee meetings, and ensure timely and clear communication with all levels of leadership, including creating, updating, and maintaining standard project management and agile dashboard metrics and reporting
  • Navigate Risk with Confidence: Proactively identify roadblocks, risks, and dependencies, and remove barriers to keep progress on track—documenting decisions and lessons learned along the way.
  • Manage Budgets Thoughtfully: Create and track project budgets, monitor actuals vs. forecast, and ensure financial accountability—including reviewing and approving vendor invoices.
  • Engage and Guide Vendors: Review contracts and statements of work, and lead relationships with external partners to ensure seamless delivery and quality outcomes.
  • Mentor and Elevate Others: Share your experience by coaching associate project managers and team members, helping them grow their skills and impact.
  • Continuously Improve Delivery: Contribute to evolving the EPMO by bringing fresh ideas, driving process improvements, and supporting a culture of excellence and learning.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in business or computer science or equivalent work or educational experience required.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience leading projects or serving in a project management type of role required.
  • Experience with management of technology and enterprise-wide projects required.
  • Experience leading teams and managing delivery using both Agile and Waterfall required.
  • Experience with mentoring and providing feedback and follow through required.
  • Excellent conceptual, organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills required.
  • Ability to plan, organize, schedule and implement multiple technical and business-related projects required.
  • Experience with industry standard project management software tools including but not limited to MS Project, and teaching others how to use those tools required.

Desired Qualifications

  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Professional project management certifications (e.g. Project Management Professional, Project Management Certification) preferred. Agile certifications and/or relevant education preferred. (E.g. Certified Scrum Master, Agile Certified Practitioner) preferred.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps Agile Boards, Metrics Dashboards and Wiki Tools
