As a Sr Director Supply Chain Planning here at Honeywell, you will ensure management of the team of professions that are driving projects to transform our 5-step S&OP and supply chain planning processes and tools within the Process Technology (PT) business unit. Collaborate closely with senior executives and cross-functional teams to align project strategies with our business objectives. 

You will report directly to the VP Supply Chain - PT, and you’ll work out of our Charlotte, NC, Houston, TX, or Rosemont, IL location on a Hybrid 3/2 work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the strategic direction of our transformational initiatives, ensuring their seamless alignment with our business objectives. By overseeing a team of skilled Center of Excellence professionals with expertise in multiple value streams, you will be instrumental in delivering successful projects on time and within budget, setting new standards for efficiency.  In addition, this position will also collaborate across the other business units and with corporate resources. This includes driving initiatives that improve our supply chain operational performance, increase revenue, improve margins and deliver free cash flow.
 

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Oversee and manage a matrixed team of skilled Supply Chain Planning Center of Excellence (COE) professionals with expertise in multiple value streams, providing leadership, mentorship, and guidance.
•    Collaborate with senior executives and cross-functional teams to define and execute project strategies aligned with business objectives.
•    Shape and manage the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring they meet quality, budget, and timeline expectations.
•    End-to-End Global Process Ownership for Planning – Act as the accountable owner of the planning business process, across all businesses within Process Technologies (PT), to ensure harmonization and standardization.
•    Representation and Governance – Represent the SBG in program forums, steering committees, and executive report-outs; serve as the escalation point for process-related issues and deviations.
•    Change & Stakeholder Management – Lead business-side change adoption, engage with planning leaders supporting each of the business division, and secure buy-in from all stakeholders.
•    Ensure that the needs of not only Legacy UOP, but also the newly acquired businesses, have a “voice at the table” to ensure that the implementations are a success and gold standard for the other SBGs to follow.
 

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE
•    15+ years of experience in supply chain planning, including at least 10 years in a senior leadership role.
•    Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and mentor a high-performing team.
•    Proven track record in leading 5 step S&OP process for a business. 
•    A track record of successfully delivering complex projects, meeting quality, budget, and timeline expectations.
•    Strong financial acumen.
•    Excellent facilitation skills and ability to bring multiple cross-functional organizations together to drive improvements, resolve issues, and creatively solve problems.
•    Deep knowledge of how the UOP business works & willingness to quickly learn how the new acquisitions operate.
•    Proven track record and experience serving in a Center of Excellence (COE) for specific function(s)
•    Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
•    Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.

•    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
•    Relevant industry certifications such as ASCM/APICS, Prosci Change Management, Project Management Certification (PMP) or similar.

•    Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities.
•    A passion for staying current with emerging industry trends and best practices.
•    Proven leadership capabilities leading global team driving results.

Pay Range:
The annual base salary range for this position in Illinois is $178,000 - $223,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
