We are seeking a strategic and execution-oriented leader to drive enterprise-wide legal technology transformation initiatives, including the modernization of legal operations, implementation and optimization of digital tools and AI-enabled solutions, process re-design, data and reporting strategy, and cross functional change management to enhance efficiency, scalability, risk management, and business partnership across the legal function. 

In this role at Honeywell, you will lead  the Legal Technology Transformation team within Honeywell’s Legal Transformation and Operations function and drive the Legal organization’s digital transformation agenda by identifying and deploying emerging technologies, including AI-enabled legal solutions, to modernize legal workflows, enhance data-driven decision-making, strengthen governance, and improve operational effectiveness.  You will also oversee the ongoing administration, optimization, and performance of existing legal technology platforms, reporting tools, and operational processes to ensure stability, usability, effective governance, and alignment with evolving business strategy and regulatory needs. 

You will report directly to our Vice President and General Counsel, Legal Transformation and you’ll work out of our Charlotte, North Carolina  location on a hybrid work schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Legal function’s technology transformation strategy, including the evaluation, implementation, integration, and optimization of legal technology platforms, AI-enabled solutions, and operational processes. 
  • Partner with Legal, Compliance, IT, Digital Security, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities to modernize workflows, enhance service delivery, and improve operational scalability and efficiency. 
  • Oversee the administration and continuous improvement of existing legal technology systems, reporting tools, dashboards, and governance processes to support evolving business and regulatory requirements. 
  • Drive legal operations innovation through process redesign, automation, knowledge management, and data-driven reporting capabilities that enhance decision making and risk visibility. 
  • Establish and maintain appropriate governance controls, and policies related to legal technology platforms, data usage, records management, and AI-enabled solutions. 
  • Lead cross-functional change management efforts associated with technology transformation initiatives, including stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and adoption strategies. 
  • Oversee development and monitoring of metrics, dashboards, and performance indicators to measure operational effectiveness, risk management, technology utilization, and transformation outcomes. 
Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 10+ years’ experience in legal operations, legal technology, digital transformation, information governance, or related functions within a complex organization
  • Experience leading enterprise leading enterprise-scale technology transformation initiatives, including implementation and optimization of legal technology platforms, workflow automation, and/or AI-enabled solutions
  • Experience partnering cross-functionality with Legal, Compliance, Cybersecurity, IT, Privacy, and business stakeholders 
  • Ability to oversee technology governance and control environments, including data integrity, audit readiness, and operational compliance requirements
  • Strong familiarity with emerging AI technologies, responsible AI governance principles, cybersecurity considerations, and evolving regulatory expectations related to digital tools and data usage
