About this role:

Gartner is seeking a deeply experienced supply chain, logistics, and technical professional to provide thought-leadership across these warehouse and fulfillment technologies:

  • Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) (evaluation, selection, implementation)
  • Warehouse MHE automation (evaluation, selection, implementation)
  • Intralogistics Robotics (evaluation, selection, implementation)

This is your opportunity to shape the future of supply chain technology at a high level. As a Gartner Sr. Director Analyst on our team, you will lead cutting-edge research into the systems, solutions, and innovations that drive next-generation warehousing, fulfillment, and distribution performance. Your insights will influence the strategic decisions of supply chain executives, including technology leaders, logistics VPs, chief supply chain officers, heads of SC strategy, and executives at software vendors and logistics service providers.

In this role, you will:

  • Be a go-to expert on client advisory calls, translating complex technology trends into actionable strategies that tackle real-world performance challenges
  • Conduct and publish in-depth research—ranging from practical best practices to breakthrough innovations—and publish compelling, high-impact thought pieces
  • Represent Gartner at conferences and major industry events, showcasing your expertise to peers and prospective clients
  • Collaborate closely with fellow analysts to grow your expertise, co-author research, drive community discussions, and refine a continuous stream of thought-leading content

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 152,000 USD - 190,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates. We also offer market leading benefit programs including generous PTO, a 401k match up to $7,200 per year, the opportunity to purchase company stock at a discount, and more.
