About the Role:

We are seeking a highly driven Business Systems Engineer to support and scale the systems that enable our Data Center Operations. This role will focus on data center asset lifecycle management, data center project and portfolio management, MRO (maintenance, repairs and overhaul), infrastructure system automation, and commissioning workflows across multiple data center sites. You will play a key role in supporting  DCIM, asset tracking systems and related 1st party systems that ensure clean data, efficient operational workflows, and seamless integration between operations, and IT. This role will also support data engineers who will be building pipelines into data warehouses. 

This position is ideal for someone who understands how infrastructure and operations intersect, and who can translate complex data center workflows into scalable, automated systems.

 What you’ll own:
  • Serve as the primary systems partner for Data Center Operations, Infrastructure, and Facilities teams
  • Own and manage tools supporting the data center asset lifecycle, from racking and provisioning to decommissioning
  • Configuration and Administration of platforms - DCIM systems (ex.Sunbird, Nlyte, Netbox) IT Asset management systems and tools used for construction and data center build-out (Ex.Procore).
  • Design and maintain runbook of workflows for rack deployment, infrastructure onboarding, and asset readiness
  • Build internal 1st party tools, reports and dashboards to visualize DC status, milestones, and capacity. 
  • Integrate build-out and commissioning workflows with ongoing operational systems (DCIM, asset registry)
  • Build reports, dashboards, and alerts to support operations, capacity visibility, and project handoffs
  • Partner with Security and Compliance to support traceability, access control, and audit readiness

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data center systems, infrastructure operations, or IT systems automation
  • Strong understanding of data center workflows, including rack deployment, provisioning, asset tracking
  • Hands-on experience with DCIM or asset management platforms
  • Proven ability to build custom apps, scripts, or APIs (Python, JS/TS, React, Node, etc.)
  • Familiarity with data center build-out workflows and commissioning milestones
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with Infrastructure, Ops, Finance, Supply Chain, and IT teams
  • Experience with Procore or equivalent construction/build-out project management tools is a plus
  • Knowledge of asset handoff workflows from construction to operations
  • Understanding of power/cooling infrastructure, structured cabling, and telemetry systems
  • Exposure to audit or compliance requirements for infrastructure traceability
  • Experience supporting global or multi-site data center environments

The base salary range for this role is $143,000-$210,000 The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).

Our Workplace

While we prioritize a hybrid work environment, remote work may be considered for candidates located more than 30 miles from an office, based on role requirements for specialized skill sets. New hires will be invited to attend onboarding at one of our hubs within their first month. Teams also gather quarterly to support collaboration
