The Opportunity
As a Specialized Tax Services - Energy Incentives & Credits Manager, you will focus on providing tax advice and solutions to clients in complex and niche areas of taxation, including accounting methods, fixed-assets, and research and development tax credits. Within our Tax practice, you will help businesses navigate intricate tax regulations and optimize their tax positions. As a Manager, you will enhance your leadership style by motivating, developing, and inspiring others to deliver quality. You are responsible for coaching, leveraging team members' unique strengths, and managing performance to deliver on client expectations. You are expected to lead with integrity and authenticity, articulating our purpose and values in a meaningful way.
In this role, you will take ownership of projects, confirming their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion. You will address conflicts or issues, engaging in challenging conversations with clients, team members, and other stakeholders, escalating where appropriate. You will uphold and reinforce professional and technical standards, including specific PwC tax and audit guidance, the Firm's code of conduct, and independence requirements. Responsibilities
- Leading specialized tax services workstreams focused on energy incentives and credits
- Guiding teams in strategic planning and execution of tax-related initiatives
- Utilizing technical proficiency in tax modeling and tax legislation to optimize client tax positions
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients to provide tailored tax advice and solutions
- Developing and overseeing the deployment of tax strategies in niche areas such as research and development tax credits
- Promoting the use of innovative technologies and leading practices in tax services
- Confirming compliance with tax regulations and standards within client engagements
- Identifying opportunities for optimizing tax structures and improving client outcomes
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 4 years of experience
- At least one of the following: Certified Public Accountant, Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity

- Demonstrating proficiency in IRA energy, manufacturing and infrastructure tax credits and incentives, including eligibility assessment, documentation, monetization, transferability and transaction support, and compliance with bonus credits including domestic content and prevailing wage and registered apprenticeship requirements

The salary range for this position is: $99,000 - $266,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
