About the Role

As a Solutions Architect at SolarWinds, you will serve as a senior technical resource supporting the sales team and acting as the top escalation point for other Solutions Engineers. This is a customer-facing pre-sales role focused on technical discovery, solution alignment, demos, evaluations, architecture guidance, and troubleshooting across the stack. The role requires deep technical understanding across networking, systems, software, and SaaS environments to help solve complex customer challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver product demonstrations that highlight how SolarWinds solutions address customer technical and business needs.
  • Provide technical guidance and support during product evaluations to help customers achieve success criteria.
  • Partner with Account Managers and sales teams to identify the right solution approach for each opportunity.
  • Lead technical discovery, architecture discussions, and solution working sessions with prospects and customers.
  • Gather and relay customer feedback on product functionality, challenges, and enhancement requests to Product Management and internal teams.
  • Maintain clear communication and accurate records of customer engagements in CRM systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong technical foundation in IT infrastructure, systems, networking, cloud, or databases.
  • Experience in a pre-sales technical role with a software vendor required; SaaS Solutions Engineer experience preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to translate customer requirements into technical solution recommendations and business value.
