Job Description

The Platform Architect will be responsible for designing processes and integrations of marketing and platform data into a holistic impact-driven solutions. This role requires a deep technical understanding of Martech, Adtech, Cloud, and CX platforms, as well as the ability to lead and mentor a team of developers and engineers. This position will solve for complex data challenges, leveraging understanding of 1P and 3P identities, omnichannel data, and empowering analytics teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and architect scalable, robust, and secure marketing, advertising and customer experience technology solutions addressing emerging technology, best practices, and durability.
  • Navigate complex enterprise data ecosystems to draw out key requirements and dependencies in existing setups. Identify new opportunities where Blend can continue to provide technical consulting guidance.
  • Lead the integration of Martech, Adtech, and CX platforms, ensuring integration with existing systems and data flows. 
    • CDPs, Composable architectures, activation, A/B testing, tagging and data collection, Marketing Automation, Orchestration, Decisioning platforms
  • Collaborate with marketing, IT, and other stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements. Align technical requirements to positive business outcomes.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of developers and engineers, and ensure adherence to solution design throughout the development process.
  • Lead and contribute to strategic guidance and client tech assessments as a SME
  • Create architecture diagrams at the conceptual, logical, and physical levels as needed to illustrate solution design. Create data flow diagrams.
  • Ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of client tech stacks.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for architecture, processes, and systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to platform integrations

 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Martech, Adtech, and CX platform architecture, integration and implementation.
  • Demonstrated success designing solutions for highly matrixed enterprise organizations.
  • Strong technical expertise in Martech platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Experience Cloud), Adtech solutions (e.g., Google Marketing Platform, The Trade Desk, LiveRamp), and CX platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, Pega, Optimizely).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, and query languages such as SQL.
  • Experience designing systems integrated with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with an understanding of products within these.
  • In-depth understanding of data management and data integration processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading technical projects from conception to completion.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Certifications in relevant Coud, Martech, Adtech, or CX platforms.
  • Experience with AI and machine learning applications in marketing.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
