Job Title: Solution Architect Principal

Job Duties: Provide direction, guidance, definition, evaluation, and facilitation for the development of current and future architecture. Lead the end-to-end solution design and architecture for critical key initiatives. Design for functional and non-functional qualities, including availability, resiliency, security, and privacy. Cooperate with senior business and IT stakeholders to secure strong engagement for the solution and ensure that the delivery of the platform aligns with a longer-term strategic roadmap. Lead the technology team to collaborate with Agile squads to deliver business benefits with effective and efficient use of technology platforms. Collaborate with business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), engineers, architects, and other roles for multiple disciplines to conduct strategic options analysis and high-level design for platforms. Improve stability of platforms by assisting with complex problem resolution efforts to determine root causes and fixes related to production incidents. Propose technology architecture solutions based on business and technology considerations. Define technology solution architecture(s) to guide contextualized solution development for Agile delivery squads. Align initiatives with long-term enterprise goals and architectural standards. Develop and present designs and known exceptions to Architectural Review Board (ARB). Advise internal business and IT partners on potentially disruptive technologies and trends. Demonstrate application of skills and knowledge across technological domains including networking, application, infrastructure, and security.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Information Technology and Management, or a related field and 7 years of experience. Experience must include: Designing, building, and implementing solutions on AWS Cloud Platform; Designing, developing and implementing solutions using multiple integration methods including Batch integrations and API integrations, such as SOAP, XML, REST, GraphQL, and API policy management; Designing and implementing multiple systems, applications, and data services that use modern technologies including Public Cloud, Microservices, App Integrations, APIs, and Process Automation at a large scale; Designing and implementing multiple systems using deployment models such as SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, and On Premise; Application of technology systems engineering including applying principles, techniques and technologies to the design and implementation of products; Leveraging tools to build system designs and provide updates during Agile ceremonies and other forums; Developing and designing enterprise-wide payment solutions and applications in the financial services industry; and Translating and communicating complex technology solutions matters to the appropriate stakeholders.
