Position Overview

Blue Acorn iCi is seeking an experienced Solution Architect – Adobe Journey Optimizer B2B (AJO B2B) to lead the strategy, architecture, and delivery of enterprise-scale B2B marketing transformation initiatives. This role will partner closely with client stakeholders, business teams, and technical delivery teams to design and implement scalable account-based marketing, buying group, audience, and lifecycle orchestration solutions leveraging Adobe Journey Optimizer B2B, Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Marketo, Salesforce, and related marketing technology ecosystems.

The ideal candidate combines deep Adobe ecosystem expertise with strong consulting and leadership capabilities, helping clients maximize the value of their marketing technology investments while driving measurable business outcomes. This individual will provide architectural leadership, establish implementation best practices, and guide organizations through complex customer engagement and marketing transformation initiatives.

Key ResponsibilitiesSolution Architecture & Strategy
  • Lead architecture, strategy, and delivery for Adobe Journey Optimizer B2B (AJO B2B) implementations.
  • Design scalable Buying Group, audience, account-based marketing, and lifecycle orchestration frameworks.
  • Develop solution architectures that align platform capabilities with business objectives and customer engagement strategies.
  • Provide architectural leadership across Adobe Journey Optimizer B2B, Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Marketo, Salesforce, and related marketing technology ecosystems.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and implementation roadmaps.
Stakeholder Engagement & Consulting
  • Partner with business and technical stakeholders to align platform capabilities with organizational goals.
  • Facilitate discovery workshops, solution design sessions, roadmap development, and governance planning.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on B2B marketing transformation strategies and platform adoption.
  • Support business development efforts through solutioning, client presentations, and strategic recommendations.
  • Drive alignment between business objectives, technical requirements, and implementation strategies.
Implementation Leadership
  • Guide implementation teams through the delivery of AJO B2B solutions.
  • Establish implementation best practices, solution standards, and governance models to support long-term scalability.
  • Provide technical oversight throughout project lifecycles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration, adoption, and optimization of marketing technology solutions.
  • Ensure delivery quality and adherence to architectural standards.
Team Leadership & Mentorship
  • Mentor architects, consultants, and delivery teams throughout project execution.
  • Provide guidance and oversight across AJO B2B, AEP, Marketo, and Salesforce implementations.
  • Lead distributed implementation teams and promote knowledge sharing and best practices.
  • Foster collaboration between business, technical, and delivery stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Hands-on implementation experience with Adobe Journey Optimizer B2B (AJO B2B), including Buying Groups and account-based orchestration capabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), including audiences, profiles, identity resolution, and customer data management concepts.
  • Experience integrating AJO B2B with Marketo and Salesforce ecosystems.
  • Proven experience leading enterprise architecture initiatives, discovery engagements, and client-facing consulting projects.
  • Experience designing and implementing account-based marketing and customer lifecycle orchestration solutions.
  • Strong understanding of B2B marketing operations, customer journey orchestration, and account-based marketing strategies.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience leading implementation teams and driving successful enterprise technology deployments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Adobe Target and personalization strategies.
  • Experience integrating Snowflake and audience intelligence solutions.
  • Consulting, agency, or professional services leadership experience.
  • Adobe certifications related to Adobe Journey Optimizer, Adobe Experience Platform, Marketo, Adobe Target, or Adobe Experience Cloud solutions.
  • Experience leading distributed implementation teams and mentoring architects and consultants.
  • Experience supporting enterprise digital transformation initiatives and marketing technology modernization programs.
Compensation

The base salary range for this position is $140,000 – $195,000 annually. Actual compensation may vary depending on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors.
