Description
Ensure the quality and reliability of software products through the design and execution of test plans, test cases, and automated testing processes. Collaborate with the development team to identify and address software defects and ensure the delivery of high-quality software. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and specifications. Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements. Execute test cases manually and through automated testing tools. Identify, record, and track software defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues. Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve efficiency and effectiveness of testing processes. Implement and execute automated regression testing. Document and communicate test results and status reports to the development team and stakeholders. Maintain documentation of test cases, test scripts, and testing processes. Set up and configure test environments to mirror production environments (benches/vehicles). Keep test environments up-to-date with the latest software versions and configurations (VCU). Up to 25% domestic and international travel. Hybrid Work Policy - 3 days In-office, 2 days remote - Must be able to report to local office.
Additional Description
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field of study and 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Software Systems Engineer, Validation Engineer, or related role. Two years of experience with: Test Planning, Test Case Development, Execution, Automation, and Documentation; Automation Test Frameworks including Selenium, Cypress, Unittest, Appium, Cucumber, and Katalon Studio; Automotive infotainment system operation; Embedded automotive modules; Speech recognition systems; and Software coding, scripting languages, and databases including Python.
