Duties: Design, develop, and execute software solutions, and troubleshoot technical problems with innovative problem solving. Create secure and high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems. Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications. Ensure design constraints are met by development. Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and report from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems. Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data and use these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture. Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Electrical Engineering or related field of study plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Electrical Engineering or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or related occupation.
