About the Role:

The Identity Protection Group is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Identity Sensor Resiliency Team where you will be focused on developing real-time monitoring of system health, telemetry and changing conditions designed to anticipate and handle system degradation and failures gracefully.

The Identity Protection Group provides unified control of every Identity with hyper-accurate detection of identity-based threats utilizing the combined power of advanced AI, behavioral analytics and a flexible policy engine to enforce risk-based conditional access that delivers detection and prevention of Identity related incidents in the customers organizational network using the Falcon Sensor and Cloud.

This role has a strong preference to candidates that are based in CST or EST Time Zones.

What You'll Do:

  • Work with a distributed team to design, implement, test, optimize, build and maintain software systems.

  • Build elegant, robust, and reliable solutions for complex technical problems.

  • Leverage your understanding of engineering best practices, including topics like secure coding, testing paradigms, effective peer code reviews, logging, and resilient architecture patterns, to ensure that our code is clean.

  • Work with external and internal customers to troubleshoot issues within the product when necessary, assisting customer support.

  • Be an energetic ‘self-starter’ who is empowered to take ownership and be accountable for deliverables, both individually and when leading a team.

  • Deliver and accept feedback with grace and courtesy.

  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams in various locations.

What You'll Need:

  • In depth knowledge with C or C++ Windows Development.

  • Strong understanding of Windows OS internals and concepts.

  • In depth knowledge of concurrency, multi-core, threading and synchronization.

  • Experience with networking protocols and technologies.

  • Experience debugging memory corruptions, process contentions and system performance.

  • Familiarity with Python Programming.

  • Communicate, collaborate, and work effectively in a distributed team.

  • Experience working with teams to ship major features and releases.

Bonus Points:

  • Low-level knowledge of Windows OS internals, components, APIs, and design.

  • Prior experience in cyber security OR in Host / Device Management.

  • Comfortable working with external customers.

The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $110.000 - $180.000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits.
