The Job At-A-Glance:

As part of the Data Platform team, you will build and maintain the cloud infrastructure and data pipelines needed for developing data-driven and machine-learning based products. Our team collaborates closely with other engineering and data science teams enabling products in Fraud Prevention, Digital Banking Personalization, Loan Pricing, and Self-Service Business Intelligence.

A Typical Day:

  • Production Support: Start the day by reviewing the production data pipeline executions, investigating any failures and raising them to team as needed.
  • Development: Assist in designing and implementing data pipelines, defining data flow, transformations, and relationships between datasets.
  • Observability: Monitor data pipelines for performance and reliability.
  • Collaboration: Work with data analysts, data scientists, and software engineers to understand data needs.

Bring Your Passion, Do What You Love. Here’s What We’re Looking For:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
  • Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software development principles
  • Familiarity with SQL and basic database concepts
  • Proficiency in Python programming language
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git and CI/CD
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
  • Any of the following technologies are a plus: Airflow, Snowflake, dbt, Pyspark, Docker, C#, Kubernetes
