We’re looking for a full-stack Software Developer to join our growing team to help improve and enhance our application. You will work on one of our core roadmap teams, while regularly collaborating with our broader Product and Engineering team. In addition to writing and testing code, you’ll be actively involved in defining the solutions we develop to meet our users’ needs.
Responsibilities:
As a Software Developer, you will:
- Contribute to the FMX web application by implementing new features, refining existing functionality, and continuously improving code quality
- Work closely with designers and our product team to ensure our solutions solve the challenges our users face
- Demonstrate a passion for continuous learning by staying up-to-date on industry best practices and leveraging emerging technologies including libraries, tools, and AI-driven solutions
- Identify and address technical debt for long-term stability
- Diagnose and resolve application issues by analyzing logs, metrics, and user reports to identify root causes and prevent recurrence
- Have opportunities to work on things that matter to you - whether that’s improving a tool or process, exploring new technologies, or solving pain points you’ve noticed in the application
Preferred Experience & Qualities:
What are we looking for in this role?:
- At least two years experience as a software engineer with expertise in .NET, C#, javascript, and React frameworks to build robust solutions
- Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting application issues
- A working knowledge of DevOps principles and practices, along with experience implementing CI/CD pipelines
- Some level of comfort with SQL is preferred, but not required

The hiring process for this role:

- Hiring manager and technical conversation: A 90+ minute conversation with the hiring team. Be prepared to discuss your background as well as what you’re looking for in your next role and what direction you see your career path taking. We will be exploring live technical solutioning in the listed disciplines. Also, this is a great time for you to ask questions about the expectations for this role, team culture, etc.
- Final Interview: A 60-minute interview with the engineering leadership team for a cultural fit and to explore the future technical direction of FMX.
- Offer & Onboarding: Candidates who receive an offer will be required to complete a background check prior to onboarding. New hires are also expected to work onsite at our Columbus, OH office during their first week to complete onboarding and connect with the team in person.
