We are looking for a creative, strategic, and community-minded Social Media Manager to own and grow our presence across social platforms. This is a high-visibility role — you will be the voice of our brand to thousands of followers, and your work will directly impact our audience growth, customer trust, and overall marketing performance.
This role goes far beyond scheduling posts. We want someone who thinks like a storyteller, acts like a community builder, and analyzes data like a strategist. You will develop our content calendar, write captions, design or source visuals, engage with our community, run paid campaigns, and report on what is working and what is not.
We are a remote-first team that values creativity, ownership, and flexibility. We believe the best social media happens when the person running it has the freedom to be genuinely human — not robotic or corporate. If you are passionate about social media, great at building relationships online, and want to do meaningful creative work from home, this role is for you.
What You Will Do

- Create and design social graphics, story templates, carousels, and short-form video content using tools such as Canva, Adobe Express, or CapCut
- Source, edit, and repurpose user-generated content, blog content, and other brand assets for social
- Develop Reels, TikToks, or short-form video concepts that align with current platform trends
- Collaborate with photographers, videographers, or influencers when visual content requires production support
Community Management & Engagement
- Monitor all platforms daily and respond promptly to comments, direct messages, mentions, and tags
- Foster meaningful conversations with followers, customers, and brand advocates
- Identify and escalate customer complaints or sensitive inquiries to the appropriate team members
- Build and maintain relationships with relevant creators, partners, and community members

- Deep knowledge of major social media platforms, their algorithms, features, and best practices
- Strong copywriting skills with the ability to write in distinct brand voices across multiple tones

- Comfort with reading data, drawing conclusions, and making informed recommendations
- Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple platforms, projects, and deadlines

Work Environment & Schedule
This role is 100% remote. While we offer significant schedule flexibility, social media management does require occasional real-time availability — particularly for trending moments, community responses during business hours, and time-sensitive campaign launches. We do not expect you to be glued to your phone 24/7, and we have clear boundaries around after-hours expectations.
We use scheduling tools to handle the majority of posting in advance, which gives you control over your week. Most content creation, strategy, and reporting can be done entirely on your own timeline. You will work closely with the broader marketing team and check in weekly via video or async updates.
Benefits & Perks
- 100% remote — permanent work-from-home position
- Flexible scheduling with realistic expectations around availability
- Paid time off — 15 days per year for full-time, prorated for part-time
- Paid federal holidays (10 days)
- Health, dental, and vision insurance (full-time employees)
- Monthly home office stipend for internet, equipment, and supplies
- Subscriptions to premium tools (Canva Pro, scheduling platforms, analytics tools)

- Collaborative and supportive team that values your creativity and strategic input
