The Social Media Intern will assist the communications team with content creation, social media posts, campaign development, and analytics reporting.
SUMMARY:
The Social Media Intern will be responsible for supporting our communications team in creating and managing content across various platforms. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media marketing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assisting with the creation and scheduling of social media posts
- Conducting research on industry trends and audience preferences
- Collaborating with team members to develop social media campaigns
- Analyzing social media metrics and preparing reports
- Supporting the team with administrative tasks as needed

- Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g., Marketing, Communications, Journalism)
- Strong interest in social media and digital marketing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with major social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn)
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Creative thinking and attention to detail
- Familiarity with Sprout Social a bonus but not required
